The mysterious Bakejizo line one bank of the Daiya River. There are
over 100 of the statues, but if you try to count them forwards and back
the number will change, hence the name "ghost jizo."

Only a short distance from the major tourist destinations of Nikko,
this shrine feels worlds away because of its natural seclusion.
